Circuit City has been out of the RM-AV3000 for several months; in fact, they even took the pricing label off of the shelf. I asked the salesman yesterday when they were getting some, and he said they were DISCONTINUED!! Then I noticed in my new Sound&Video J&R Music World ad that they were showing a reduced price on the remote when, in the past, they always said "Call for price". I called Sony, but of course they said that it was still in production. Has anyone out there heard of the remote being discontinued? If so, what will replace it, and when? I really can't understand why Sony would replace it so soon, but COULD Circuit City be wrong?
