I think this question was posted, but the response didn't answer the question, so here it goes..
On the AV3000, I am having difficulty changing the labels of the "standard" buttons (NOT the ones where you can type in the whole label, just the ones where you can choose between 3 or 4 different labels)
For example, on STB I want to change "Band" to "Wide". The Manual says to enter learn mode, and press the component button at the same time as the function button and the function button will cycle through the labels. I've tried this to no avail. Is there something I'm missing?
Also I seem to be able to learn a few codes and then when I try to learn additional code, "NG" flashes 5 times when I push the function button - this is at the time when it should be waiting to recieve an input signal. If I "reboot" by removing and replacing the batteries, it works again. Is my unit defective or am I missing something else?
Thansk

After you enter the learn mode, follow the manual, when it says the component button it means the button on the touchscreen next to the del button. if you didnt change the label, in your case, it would be the stb button on the touchscreen, not the hard button. Good luck cb1

That was the problem - thanks. Now I understand the complaints about the manual :)
