Please give me an idea about what the adv. and disadv. are of these models between one another so I can choose which one works best for me. I am interested mostly in the chepaer one, but not if it will limit me so much more than the other two. Please let me know your thoughts and experiences with each.

Search this group, this topic has already been discussed. The MX-500 is the hands down winner. The VL1000 although cheaper has lots of flaws. Search this forum you will find all your answers.
