I have almost entirley sony entertainment system..
Reciever: STR-DB1070
DVD:DVP-CX860 301 DVD changer
HDTV: KP-51HW40
LD: PANASONIC LX-600
VCR: Cheesy Smasung 4 head hi fi (thank god they will be gone soon)
DSS:RCA low end model
anyways here is my problem i bought the DVD player from sears (clearenced for 229) anyways NO REMOTE UGHHH tried everything to get them to get a remote for me but anyhow... will the RM-AV3000 control all the features in this DVD Changer?
i know it will control 99% of my goodies but there are alot of things i cant control on the DVD player that i need and from sony the factory remote is 75+ dollars.. also what about the jog shuttle and those features does it also have this?

if this ISNT the remote i should get what else should i look at for replacement? id really love to get rid of the 3 tons of remotes i have :)

The AV3000 should work for you but it would be better if you had the DVD remote. According to Sony you need remote RMT-D12. Sony wants $76 for it so check out www.replacementremotes.com instead.

If Sears still sells a Sony mega changer, return to Sears with your bill and RM-AV3000 and ask to learn the codes off of another unit's remote.

ok say i find sumone with the RMT-D112A and program the AV3000 does it have some sort of soft touch JOG?? in the screen for the DVD or?? is it just FF RW and play?

Jog? What do you mean? Jog/shuttle controls? You'd have to put those on LCD buttons.
