Hello. I just bought the Sony RM-AV3000 a couple of days ago. Love it. Absolutely great.
Question tho: I have the big white button (hereinafter "BWB")labeled DVD programmed to my Sony DVD S360D player. (Well, not programmed, since all Sony stuff is pre-programmed, but you know what I mean.)
But when you bring up the control template after pressing the DVD "BWB" there is no button for Menu.
If I go into the remote's Learning function to train a Menu button, it doesn't seem to work. Specifically, if I choose the REC button on the template to associate with my Sony DVD's 'menu' button, it seems to learn it (get the normal beep and not the "NG" symbol), but it doesn't bring up the menu for the DVD that I'm currently watching.
Is there something obvious that I am missing?

Is there something obvious that I am missing? Possibly - have you tried the fixed "Menu" bottom at the lower left corner on the AV3000? FWIW, there is no "menu" button on the touchpad. - Bill This message was edited by Bill Mullin on 08/26/02 11:01.25.
