I have to say, I'm absolutely shocked at the poor quality and flawed design of this remote.
I personally could care less about some of the ergonomic complaints I've read in here, but the data corruption problem a few have complained about is just plain wrong.
The latest manual states that, before erasing a learned signal on a button, you have to "press and release any button which has no learned signal." This is the most ludricrous thing I've ever heard. I don't even know what they mean. Does that mean all hard keys as well as all three pages of soft keys? Do they really believe a person will actually do this?
Well, predictably, after spending hours setting up about half of what I need (BTW, I have an unbelievably complicated setup), the friggin thing corrupted, thus rendering my afternoon wasted.
Who exactly are they selling this thing to? Who has time for garbage like this?
It would really make me feel better if other people would jump in here and bash this remote a bit. TIA ;^)
