I have a KP-51HW-40 Sony TV which came with the RM-Y909 remote
I also have a STR-K502 Sony FM Stereo/ FM-AM Receiver which came with the RM-U305 remote
What I am looking for is the set of discrete program codes that will let the RM-Y909 remote of the TV control the volume and the input audio sources of the STR-K502 Sony FM Stereo/ FM-AM Receiver.
Here is what I need; I can change the video input of the TV with the RM-Y909 from cable to DVD to VCR now. WHat I cannot do with this remote is adjust the volume up/down of the receiver. I also cannot select the audio for the corresponding video from this remote from cable to DVD to VCR.
The RM-Y909 has the ability to program for other devices using the AV1, AV2, AV3 selections, but the manual only lists satellite receivers, cable boxes, DVDs and VCR- no receivers
Any help you can get me is appreciated.

If the remote is not capable of controlling audio receivers, then there's absolutely nothing you can do to make it work. Preprogrammed remotes only control what they're designed to control.
