The batteries in my AV3000 only lasted about a month. How long have yours lasted?

The Duracells that I use in my AV2100 last about six months. That is with heavy heavy use; frequent backlight, and lots of channel surfing. One month sounds like you either had weak batteries, or there is something in the AV-3000 draining them.

I spent extra and bought the new Energizer Titaniums. Maybe they aren't as good as the commercial makes them out to be. Next time I'll just by some cheap Rayovacs and save my money.

The RM-AV3000 isn't a very high draw device that the new types of batteries are designed for... I think it's best served by standard alkaline batteries.
