I just bought the AV3000 after breaking my RM PP505 remote during a wrestling match with my son. Is there anyway to get the codes for my reciever's surround settings and some of the other more specific functions of the PP505 short of buying another one and trying to learn them into the AV3000. I love the new remote, but would be ecstatic if I didn't have to fiddle with the reciever itself to change the soundfields and such.

You probably need the remote for your receiver... I have the DE945... and I "taught" my AV3000 the soundfields from its remote... now I have my soundfields set via component and system macros.

Take your AV3000 to a store that sells the receiver. Use a demo receiver remote to program the AV3000. I did this, and I think the sales guys were impressed!
