Great reference.
Years ago I interned for a major TV/Movie production facility here in NYC. We used numerous Sony Professional Monitors, Cameras and Editing stuff, etc. exclusively supplied by Sony. During the months of November and December of every Year, all the employees were able to place orders for Sony Consumer products at Crazy untouchable Sony insider prices such as yours. They were considered an Employee Holiday shopping Perk/Bonus. We all looked forward to them. There were some Quantity and Model restrictions.

Got mine from J&R in New York for $111.95 + $4.95 s/h. Their posted price is $149.95, but they matched eCost and had the product in stock and shipped it the following day.
