Hello everybody, I just recieved my remote yesterday. While browsing through the manual I noticed teh pages 17-20 are missing. Has anyone had a similar problem?
P.S. How do I go about getting those pages. I called sony but the phones give you a run-around because they don't have a remote control option.

Nope, they're here, looks like your book missed a few pages. Look later in the manual, you should find an equal number of missing pages near the end.

First, you can exchange the remote easily for another one if hopefully if it was not "Mail Ordered". Just one of the Caveats of M/O'ing.
Call Sony again and go insane on them till they send you one. But since the AV3000 is new, the manual might be back-ordered from Sony for some time.
They could send you a photo copy of those pages as an option.....or I just might be able to scan, compress and send them to you. Maybe through this site if possible. Get back to me on this thread!

coincidence, I too have an '88 Toyota Corolla.
with T.oyota R.acing D.ivision ( or is it D.evelopement?) hop ups.
Same taste in remotes as well in cars. I believe Toyota dropped that division several years ago?
let me know if you still need the missing pages of the AV3000 manual.

Ask Sony for the PDF manual, it is available. Then send to me and I will post on my site for others to use.

For Trdcorolla,
My manual was missing pages 17-20 and 85-88 also
anyway I contact with sony and they faxed me all the missing pages.

MR MOD, I checked with Sony on the AV3000 PDF manual. They could not get me it. Not ready yet! or they just don't like Me! ....whatever I don't need it anyway.

I just bought a Sony RM-AV3000 and some pages are also missing in my user manual (pages 21-36). To complete my pain, the spanish manual is complete...
Is there a way to download this manual (in english!) before I follow spanish lessons?
