I have a Sony STR-DE945 Home Theater Receiver and a Sony RC AV2100 Universal Remote Control. I can cotrol the basic AMP functions with the AV 2100 very nicely. But I can't make the DSP component selection work. It looks like it would for such things as Sound Field, etc.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Best I can suggest is searching the forum. Many others have worked on this and the information should help.

Steve: Daniel's advice is the best. Do a search for "DSP" in the "Sony Forum".

The AV2100 and the 900 remotes both control the Sound Fields on Sony receivers; however, the implementation is just a little odd. First and foremost, they are not included in the Device code: they must be learned from the original remote.

Secondly, you will not be able to select Sound Fields directly, but rather will have to cycle through the list. ... Mike

Has anybody used the advanced codes from a Cinema 7 or Radio Shack 15-1994 and then learned them to the Sony VL900 or AV2100?

Codes for programming the Sony AMP on the C7 / 15-1994:
