I'm looking for a decent touchscreen remote. I've read the appropriate reviews, but I'm still wondering how the Sony AV2100 stacks up against the Pronto. In short, is the Pronto worth the extra $200 (or so) over the Sony.

You're talking about a remote that's more than double the street cost of the AV2100. For more money, you get more stuff! What exactly do you need to do with the remote?

If you read Daniel's review of both remotes, you should have a good idea of what they can do (other reviews are not as important).
The next thing I think you should do is go to the file section and download ProntoEdit and some of the CCFs (configuration files) that you think you like. You are the only judge on your wallet.
