A week ago I bought RM VL900T, version, which is sold in Europe. I was encouraged by the reviews on this site. You were all right - It is an excellent remote.
European version is slightly different: some universal keys have different labels (pictures instead of text), there are additional fasttext color labels above transport keys (which I find extremely useful), there's no T logo on it. Functionality is the same, except there is no channel macro function (nothing in the manual or I can't find it).
I like the shape and the feel of the remote and It looks good. It is also true that It has cheap plastic design and that the feel or feedback of keys is not that great. Ergonomics is good overall but I would make some changes.
Generally speaking I think that concept of this remote is s clear winner over the touchscreen remotes. It defines an essence of the remote - simple, logical, convenient and capable of everything. The number of keys is just right. If you spend some time beforehand to plan how to program and organize keys logically you will never forget what is where.
Programming is simple and I never had any problems with it. On basis of codes I simply rearranged few functions. I had to put PIP functions of the TV on different component button - here I really miss the SHIFT function. I had to find a code for my Humax digital sat receiver with a search function, which is simple enough. If you count the presses while searching you can also find a code number (if you need it next time).
Now the (not so big) problem and question. It seems that remote doesn't allow quick sequence of key presses. This is a problem when quickly entering channel numbers or teletext page number or moving quickly through menu options. In this cases I constantly miss some numbers or some presses are not registered. Anyone have any ideas about this?
Anyway thanks for this great site. Best regards.
Marko

Did it work correctly with the original remotes? Have you learned commands or did you use the preprogrammed codes?

It works correctly with the original remotes. For the keypad and arrow keys preprogrammed codes were ok so I left them. Should I try to learn keypad and see what I get? I'll probably do that.
Please try to enter teletext page 111 very quickly. Does anyone have any problems? Thanks.

You can try learning the keypad -- but be sure to try different things: holding, pressing, distances, etc... learning help can be found on this site under FEATURES -> TIPS & TRICKS.
