This is probably a dumb question, but I assume the Sony RM-VL900 handles stuff like the zoom or angle features on a dvd player? I'm encouraged by the reviews but just haven't seen it explitely stated.
Also, I only have four components (tv, dvd, vcr, and receiver) and was about to buy an MX-1000 but kinda' think that might be overkill. It sounds like the Sony RM-VL900 will easily handle everything including all those advance features. And macros will handle multiple system power down?

the VL 900 is a learning remote. So even if something is not built-in, it can be easily added by learning from the original remote
