AV2100 - For NTSC?

OK, humor me folks. I'm sending a Sony AV2100 to Australia to a friend, because they're a lot cheaper to pick up here in Canada. On the packaging, it says "For NTSC"

Now this doesn't mean anything does it? The remote will still work fine for PAL TV's in Australia correct? I don't think this will be an issue, since Pronto's don't care if it's PAL or NTSC components. I just wanna be sure before I ship it all the way to Australia.

No, doesn't mean much. It's just to indicate that it's to be sold in the North American market.

I am in Australia and have the 2100. It works fine. The only disadvantage is not having Teletext buttons (there is a model called 2100T - T for Teletext but I couldn't find one).
