Is there a way to change the volume control on the RM-Y169 so that it uses the amp instead of the TV? Both the TV and AMP are sony...

That's why they have bookmarks. :-) What sort of remote is it? Universal? Did it come with the TV? If it did come with the TV, chances are very high that it has no way of controlling the amp.
