does anybody know what the RM-AV1100 is, came across a store in singapore with about 100 of them for about Sing$ 500 (US$20). looks very much the same as the 2000 or 2100 except black in colour. Has the same functions as the 2000 but slightly smaller. Any way might buy a few when there to play with.

The RM-AV2000 / RM-AV2100 came out a long, long time ago in Japan as the RM-AV1000. The AV2000 was an improvement for the north American market, as was the AV2100. Overseas they're typically sold as the AV2000T and AV2100T. However, I don't know how new the RM-AV1100 is. A lot of things have changed over the models, but very little visually (save the case color).
