First timer needs expert help. Has the AV2100 replaced the AV2000 as the current model. I have a General Instruments DSR920 C-Band reciever also a Navigo 301 used for the Canadian Starchoice System. Will the remote work with these units.

Yes, the 2100 replaced the 2000. Don't know about StarChoice.

If it's IR and you have the remote to learn from, yes.

Yup,they'll both work but the 2000 will most likely need to learn the codes from you GI and Star Choice units. The 2100 has the Star Choice code in it already so no learning required there.
