Hi, I'm new here and I noticed on the specs page tht Echostar is one of the Sat Dishes supported by the 2100, but when I looked at it at Circuit City, echostar was not listed. Will this work, it is a dish 500 system, I believe a 3200.
If not will the 2100 learn the entire remote?
I took a chance an ordered one from ecost for $110 total with overnight shipping.
The rest of the sys is
sony 36" xbr 400
Sony 5 disc DVD
Mitsubisi VCR
Yamaha RX-V596 Receiver
All help is appreciated, this is a great page.

Yup. Worked for me using code 010 (echostar Canada)

Anybody out there Have the Yamaha RX-V596? how does it work with that?

Logman,
You might notice that the channel up/down doesnt work using the 010 Canada code, however just "learn" the command from your Dish remote. Took me a while to figure out.
