Noticed in the review here for RM-VL900 the following:
"To configure the audio passthrough: By default the RM-VL900 controls the TV’s volume for the TV, VCR, CBL/SAT and DVD buttons, and the receiver’s for CD, MD, Tape and Amp."
It seems strange to me that by default the TV's volume would control the DVD. Don't most people have their DVD audio hooked up to their receiver? Is there a simple way to reprogram the remote to change this?
Thanks

Their default is Video devices go to TV, Audio devices go to Receiver. To change it, keep reading the sentence you posted part of above.

Daniel,
I understand the remote can be changed so ALL devices go the receiver...what if I only want the DVD to go to the receiver and not the TV?

Best solution is to just learn the volume commands you want where you want. It's manual, but simple.
