I am using the RM-AV2100 and have a Sony DVP-C650D 5 disc DVD/CD player. The Sony remote has the usually number keys; in addition it has 5 buttons 1-5 to change the DVD or CD being played. Is there a way to program the DVD changer to activate the "disk skip" function and/or to use the number keys to go to jump to the different tracks on a CD? Thanks

I have the same changer, and am using the sony 900 remote. When I told the remote the DVD would be a sony, the preprogrammed codes used the channel up/down buttons to skip tracks(not as good as direct access but okay) then I "learned" the PIP button to act as the disc skip. The number keys also work for direct access to tracks, you just have to press enter before it actually goes to the track.

Why don't you teach the 2100 the 5 disk keys and assign them to letters A-E on the touch screen.
