I was getting really frustrated with powering on/off using macros. My Sony equipment (DVD, CDP-450), after programmed, showed a manual power toggle (Power) button, but macros only showed Power On command when I went to program them. SO, when I went to shut all off, the power on command would not work.
Simple solution, (I can't believe it took reading another hint buried in a thread here, which is why I am creating a thread). Power off or "Off" is in the opposite corner.
This may seem fundamental for some users, but I never looked there before - that's where the RESET button usually is!
Hope this helps someone else at their wits end.
