There is a problem with turning off my H/K receiver and DVD. There is a ON button and a OFF button ON the remote for each. On the Sony remote there is only an ON button. I can't turn off either component. Any idea???

Which Sony remote are you talking about here? Did you try the built-in codes? If the 2100, it may have it available for use from macros. If not, then you'll need to find somewhere else to stick that signal.

Its the AV2100. Yes I did try the build in codes same problem. There is no way to have an ON and OFF signal attached to one button?
