How do I program / change the assignments of the numeric buttons (1-9) when used in conjunction with the AMP button?
That is, to get my JVC RX7000 amp to switch to TV, I have to hit AMP + 3, and I would like it be AMP + 8 (where the VL900 is already labeled TV)?
The manual said you can only program one button at a time; only the system buttons are good for macros, but this seems different.

You can't actually reassign buttons. But if you have another remote with the codes you need (the original maybe) you could learn over them.
