Can the Sony RM-VL 900 do X-10? I keep reading about the 2100 working with an IR543 and was wondering if I can do that with my 900.

Also I have a Pioneer receiver that cycles through the various devices with a fuction key. There is no one button that can be pressed to select, say TV. How can I program the 900 to operate a macro that will select the correct device on the amp. Right now when the amp is powered on whatever device that was selected last is what I get.

Re X10, you'll need another remote to learn the signals off of.

Re input codes, unless you have those codes somewhere else, no. It's possible the VL900 comes with some built-in, but I wouldn't bet on it. :-)
