I have seen this remote sold at SAM's CLUB in San Diego for 129.99$ I will be buying one this weekend, this is a Members only club but just about anyone can get a 35$ membership and still save good money.

Doesn't beat $93.99 from ecost.com. Even with their handling and selected mode of shipping, it comes out to about $105. There is no membership fee with ecost, and I received a factory fresh unit in two days.
Hey, when you're at Sam's Club, can you get me the 40 pound pack of chicken breasts? :-> love those buying clubs!

I just bought a refurbished RM-AV2100 from the SOny Outlet Store in Lake Elsinore, CA for $69.99! THere must have been one hundred in stock. Best price I've ever seen on it.

Actually they don't have any specific model remotes- they hav a number of universal remotes (non-refurbished) -non-learning, ranging in price from 15-40 dollars, then this AV2000 refurbished fo 59.95, than AV2100 for 179.

I haven't been back since but I think they still do. I was reading another email thread and mention was made the remotes were still there in May. Anyone else have more currrent sightings and priceing?
