I am using the RM-VL900 and have a Pioneer DV-C503 5 disc DVD/CD player. The Pioneer remote has the usually number keys; in addition it has 5 buttons 1-5 to change the DVD or CD being played. Is there a way to program the VL 900 to change to a different DVD/CD and also use the number keys to go to jump to the different tracks on a CD?
Thanks

No, you can't have two signals on one button... they'll need their own keys.

Check under the Technical/User Tips section. It talks about using Deck B/A component to do this. Looks like you'd have to toggle between A and B to do this but at least the functions are under the same Component. You can reassign a component to another button but the owner's manual says that if you copy the Deck B/A over to another component it will only operate Deck B so thats some bad news. There may be a workaround. You might check some past postings to see specifics too. I just got my 2100 and am still learning about it.

Good luck.
