I just received my new STRDE845 and the only problem I have is the remote. The biggest problem is how do change the video inputs on the TV? I have the Sony 43" projection TV. Hope someone can help, my wife is not a happy camper. The remote on the Sony 715 worked better with less buttons to push.

With the default receiver's remote? Should be an INPUT or TV/VIDEO button.

There is no INPUT or TV/VIDEO buttons on the remote itself.

Be carefull with your new remote as I purchased a Sony STR-DE840 with the LP-204 remote and found out it has a flaw. Sometimes the LCD screen goes blank for no reason, I thought I had a bad unit but found my dealer had 3 other returned remotes. The only quick fix (other than retuning it for a different model) is to remove your batteries for about 10 minutes, this will reset your remote however it requires a reprogramming of your non Sony equipment and macros.

How did you solve the problem of changes the video inputs on your TV? If I get another model, are there any suggestions?

Are you certain? Every Sony remote I have here has a TV/VIDEO button somewhere... but if not, I suggest buying a preprogrammed/learning remote such as the RM-AV2100 or RM-VL900.
