I am trying to execute a series of commands using the SYSTEM CONTROL feature. What I want to do is 1)Power on the TV 2) Power on the amp 3) Set the input selector of the amp to TV 4) Set the input mode of the TV SVideo1 5)have the remote end up onr the CBL/SAT button.

Since my TV have several input modes and the TV remote has 1 button that scrolls thru all of them. Is there a way to program the VL900 to turn on to the SVideo1 input mode, when using the Sytem control feature?

Yes, you can do all of this using a macro. Test it first by inputting each function you want to perform. Write down the sequence as you do it. If you can do it successfully manually, it will work in a macro. If you do not have discrete inputs for the video, you need to press the "video" button several times until you get the input you need. If the "CBL/SAT" is the last button you hit, it will be in the 'CBL/SAT mode. Good luck!
