Is there a standard code for the Tivo (Phillips and Sony) on the VL-900, or do you have to "learn" all the codes from the Tivo remote?

I had to teach it all the commands.
There are very few remotes that have the Tivo pre-programmed.
Maybe a future rev of the Vl-900 might. (Since SONY has some sort of investment in Tivo...).

I'd figure that the next revision of all Sony remotes would cover the TiVo.

I had to teach mine as well, but it only took a few minutes. It's actually the major reason I bought that remote (which I love) is that it learns the controls for you.
