I am trying to program macros on my new VL900. My amp requires that I press and hold a button for over 1 sec to choose the component input. I have tried changeing the macro interval, but that doesn't seem to do it.

Does anyone know how to program a long button press in a macro?

Thanks
Tom

Tom,

You might want to try to learn the whole macro into one button. The VL900 has the ability to capture a rather lengthy string. Just set it up to learn a single button press and, with a little practice, press the codes to be learned in order and the proper length with little or no lag between presses. If you are not trying to sent too may codes, the process may work.

Thanks for the tip Rob.
I tried what you said and it worked like a charm.

The VL900/AV2100's learning capabilities are pretty impressive, eh?
