I can only get my systems control buttons to turn off at most one component (usually my amp). I tried to dedicate button #3 to turning off my dvd, tv and amp, but to no avail. Any suggestions? Thanks

Not sure what remote you mean (2100?), but could the problem be due to Sony components that have separate power on/off buttons? Ordinarily a macro should work fine for powering if you sequence it right, but for the exceptions, you can either make two separate power on & power off macros, or try the techniques found here:

Look in the Sony Reviews section under User Tips.

Hey Bruce,

Thanks for the tip to go to USER TIPS! I didn't even notice that it was my sony tv and sony dvd that won't turn off! I followed the tips on powering on/off in the user tips section and it works! Thanks again!

PS. Yep, it's the 2100. :)
