I'm having trouble programming the component keys with custom commands. What I want is to have the component buttons switch everything over to TV mode or VCR mode or DVD mode all with the touch of a single button. I do what the instructions say and the macro never executes. Here's what I did:
(Commander Off) + (+ Volume) + (TV), (TV), (Power on), (Input) + (0), (AMP), (Power on), (Video 1), (TV), (1), (0), (Commander Off)

The Macro won't even run when I hit the (TV) button.
Help, what am I doing wrong.

Duh if I read the instructions I could have figured it out. Like my wife says typical Guy "I don't need instructions"

Some TVs will not respond to the immediately after power on. The solution is easy. Turn the TV on, do everything else, then switch the input as the last step. With a little luck, this will give the TV time to "wake-up".

BTW: The macro is initiated when you "press and hold" the component select button for a few seconds and not by simply pressing the button.
