Is VL-900's component keys like the DVD, MD, VCR, TV keys learnable. Manual says you can macro on these component keys.

Thanks,
Charles

You can place a macro OR one learned signal on the component keys.

I like the using component keys for macros-

TV button macro-turns on (or off) TV and receiver, sets receiver audio to TV.

Once TV is on:

DVD button macro-turns on DVD player, sets TV to video input, sets receiver audio to DVD.

VCR button macro-turns on VCR, tunes TV to channel 4, sets receiver audio to VCR.

Since my CD player does not have a remote, I put a macro on the CD button to return the setup from DVD to TV (turns off DVD, switches TV from video to TV, sets receiver audio on TV. I'm going to program a similar macro to switch from VCR to TV viewing.
