I've got my AV2100 working fine. I used the MODE button to cycle through LEVEL, SUR, etc. and the <>^V buttons for JOG and parameter selection. I tried to program the soundfield button and hit a snag. The remote that comes with the Sony STR-DE845 receiver would appear to output more than one infrared signal when it is used to select a soundfield. There doesn't seem to be a button on the remote that would put the receiver in a mode in which some other button on the remote could cycle through the soundfield choices.
I've searched these forums high and low and have not found (or perhaps understood) the fix for this problem.
What's the secret?

Adding to Daniel's link: Deva, there isn't an easy way to do it. All the commands active the DSP chip, and it is always active in the last state in which it was used. So if you use EQ, next time it will be in EQ.
I have just been informed that the two chips in the Sony receivers operate at different frequencies; this is why a URC cannot learn the DSP commands from Sony remotes. However, I have also discovered that the MX-1000 can be programmed with two different Device codes for Sony receivers (015 and 166), and that each are designed to pick up commands at different frequencies from the Sony... something I will definitely be trying out... ...
