I'm totally new here but just got the 2100 today and found elsewhere on this site the Jerrold/GI code(s) do work. Haven't really even begun "playing" yet but do know that "001" as mentioned in Sony's componant code list seems to work i.e. at least do the basics.

does anyone have a code that works on an ATT (media one)digital cable box with the name General Instruments? The published codes for my Sony RM-VL900 do not work.

Make sure you've changed the CBL/SAT button from satellite to cable mode.
