Hi Everybody,

I have a Sony RM AV 2100, and I cant find any codes for My:
Scientific Atlanta
Explorer 2000 Digital Cable Box....

Anyone got a code for this?

(I live in the NYC area and have TW cable)

There may not be any codes, new digicable boxes are coming out fast & furiously, and many do not have standard codes yet. First, try GI or Jerrold codes, you may get a power and channel hit, at least. If not, try the channel auto-search method, if you feel like it (you may get a similar nibble, at least).

After that (or even before that), "learn" in the rest of the functions from the cable remote to the 2100. Not much to it, at least with my new digital Motorola box.

Kevin,

Have no fear. There are codes for the Scientific
Atlanta. Sony has been very thorough and complete
in their codes, at least on the component side,
can't speak about the receivers though.

I use Digital TV from Videotron in Canada and they
also use the Explorer 2000 to decode the signals.
The 2100 component codes you want to try are the
following:

009
010
011

Let me know if this works.

Good luck!!

I have the same problem.
Tried 009,010,011 plus many other codes but without success.

With one of the first 3 codes the CBL button flashes 5 times.

When I try a code search, sometimes the CBL button flashes 4 times.

Help!

Dave's question has been answered in another thread, but Kevin could have something similar with the RM-AV2100 (it defaults to SAT too).
