Hello :
I am new to this off air antenna thing since the switch over . I used to run a Channel Master 9514 . then I got satellite . I recently purchased a Digiwave ANT2110 antenna . I am getting 1 station TVO I am pointing SSW. I live 47 KM from Lake Ontario the antenna is 18 ft above ground . Can anyone help I am wondering if the antenna is pointing wrong I am wondering where the focal point is .

Where exactly are you located. The only suggestion I have is that you should point antenna towards CN Tower for a start. If you start to get more channels and they are weak, then I would get an antenna amplifier, one that is mounted right on the antenna mast. Use the map in this forum as a guide.

Unfortunately if you live in Verona, Ontario, you won't be able too receive many stations.  The transmitter antennas of the stations you can receive are located in various directions of your place.  You will either need a rotor or a non-directional antenna (which have a lower gain).

Here is a link to ZAP2IT.COM's terrestrial broadcast list of stations you should be able to receive at least using the postal code K0H 2W0
\[Link: zap2it.com] 2w0&mso= &store=1&lineupid=CAN-OTAK0H2W0

You are either receiving TVO on
CICO-DT channel 26 Belleville [Link: cdbs.recnet.net]
CICO-DT channel 44 Cloyne  [Link: cdbs.recnet.net]
or CICO-DT channel 24 Ottawa [Link: cdbs.recnet.net]

If you are receiving TVO from Ottawa, you antenna is pointing north-west, you can also try other Ottawa stations...[Link: rabbitears.info]
You can also try aiming south to Rochester for these stations

Note that the Global station in Bancroft channel 2 CIII-TV-2 is broadcasting in analogue  [Link: cdbs.recnet.net] (CBC) channel 11 is located in Kingston (Wolfe Island) , and CJOH channel 49 is from Deseronto, [Link: cdbs.recnet.net].

TABLET TV

I didn't know where to post this; didn't want to start a new thread.

Bell is offering "Tablet TV" for $5.00 a month and provides limited (Bell Media) channels.

"Tablet TV"  in the U.S. is totally different.  For a one time fee of $89.95 (U.S.), you can pick up your local O-T-A stations on your iPad, providing you remain within the home network range (or 9 metres when pairing).
