Just posting this to see who is pulling in the
main distribution feeds to affiliates with c/ku-band,
on a forum like this I figured it would be popular
as far a picture and sound quality go.

I am using a pci card and a GeosatPro MicroHD,
10/ft c/ku-band dish.

How do you like the new microHD?. Have you got any new 16 or 32APSK signals? I have heard it is capable of those , although since it is a so new standard being used, they are very rare. This forum is more for OTA but I am sure there are users that have C band capable systems.

Rjdto from the top of my head and with a limited 6 feet dish NHK World HD at 58W, Galavision E/W HD at 135W, Aztecas 7,13,40 at 116W IIrc, Fox Sports Latam HD at 55.5W (I think is encrypted now), PBS E/W HD at 125W on Ku, EWTN HD at 131W IIrc, NBC E/Ctrl//Mnt/W HD at 103W on Ku, Pentagon Ch HD, Nasa TV HD, Pixl HD, Reel HD, Sprout HD,TBN HD, SportTimeOhio HD,CBC HD, Once TV HD, TeleQuebec HD, ION HD,Net 24 HD,TCT HD, CBN HD, BYU HD, Weather Nation HD plus live events , concerts and sports feeds poping up across the sky on several sats .

It's a hot seller here in Canada, we are based in
Montreal, have not tested apsk feeds yet. The old
Manhattan did pick some up, I will have to try with
this unit. Not time.

HD pic is flawless, receiver works straight out of the
box.

Oh I see, you were just advertising your products rather than giving valuable info , no wonder the motorised 30 satellites short answer.

Not good to ass-ume things there buddy,
it could make you look ignorant.

Just because I am a big dish dealer does
not mean I am not also a user who just
wanted to see if others on this forum also had
a system or had any questions.

I am actually offended by your remarks but I do
like this board so I will keep coming back.

Is there an ignore feature on this forum?

Given that it's an HDTV via antenna forum, I tend to agree that you are shilling your sat dish based wares.

Put me on ignore as well thanks!

That's odd, this is what I read:

All about receiving HDTV in the USA and Canada - OTA, cable, satellite or online. Also for Toronto and Buffalo residents to talk about OTA reception!

No shilling not my style, came here to help others
and learn from others as many dealers and techs
are here, we are people to, and we do use the
very same systems we sell and install.

Anyways with those who have a big dish system,
please post up and let us know what you are using.

Okay, you're not shilling for the company, but if you look at your posts without knowing what you are thinking (as all of us must do), it looks that way.

The best way to avoid this is to introduce yourself at the start as a commercial dealer of this stuff, then just say you're interested from a hobbyists' point of view in what the experiences of others has been. It helps drive that point home if you ask what other equipment they have.

We've seen too many people use these forums as their advertising plan, so we're sensitive to what looks that way.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I guess there are not that many big dish users here :( anyways there is lots of beef going on with sellers of the azbox, it does 4:2:2 I use a pci card for that. There is a new Geosat receiver coming soon. I will most probably get a sample to play with, so maybe if I can clone myself I will actually have time to do that, it will support more apsk than the Micro from what I have gathered so far.

Manhattan Digital is also claiming a new receiver release, no specs on it yet, they also are bringing back the Patriot line of antennas/dishes/reflectors whatever you want to call them, they will also bring back mesh dishes later this year.
