If you find a panasonic or technics code that controls the power, to get the volume you have to do the following: First there HAS to be a tv code programmed to the tv device, or the volume keys won't work. Then:

1. av1 or av2
2. press and hold MUTE & SELECT for two blinks
3. enter 9 9 3
4. press SELECT

The volume keys never work initially with any audio code.

I found a code under Stereo\Panasonic 31518 it will turn of the power but when i hit 993 it does not control the volume , it apears that when i hit "9" the surround sound goes to AM input. If i hit "1" it goes to cd/dvd and the channel up and down controls the radio channels. I cant get the remote to switch to "TV" or "AUX" audio input.
Also I am running a Sony Bravia AW 15 Projector as a tv.

With Panasonic code programmed in, you just don't enter 993. you have to PRESS & HOLD MUTE & SELECT keys for two blinks, then enter 9 9 3, then press SELECT.
