I've been wondering. I got a Black universal philips remote with silver stuff on the side.. and, i've found how to find the code for my sony tv. The thing is, when it finds the code the tv turns off like it would and i quickly get my finger of the button. But i can't understand why it can't remember the code, to be exact i can't turn on the tv! what the heck?
So the procedure is i turn on the tv, press and hold setup on the remote, the red light turns on and then i need to hold the power button on the remote until the code has been found. and after the tv is turned off i quickly leave the button. but like i said it doesnt memorise it...
or could u tell me how do i enter the codes in it? it has button like setp, learn etc...
