Hi,

I have a Philips PHDVD5 that has 5 active devices on it. I am unable to get my audio from my home theater to "punch through" to the cable box.

It punches through to the TV mode OK, and to the SAT mode OK (which is actually a ReplayTV). The VCR and DVD modes are actually the home theater itself and they work fine.

But the CBL box volume controls always operate the cable box volume. Since all the devices go through the home theater, this is irksome.

I have tried the "punch through" instructions, as well as trying to "learn" the volume controls into the CBL mode, but no luck. I think I am doing it right as I've done lots of other learned keys.

Any ideas? Are the home theater IR codes imcompatible with the CBL box IR codes? If so, is there any way to make it work? Any help appreciated.

Thanks.
