i'VE GOT A BIKE LIGHT AND WANNA INCREASE BATTERY LIFE,I HAVE 2 X 9 VOLT BATTERIES AND HAVE TRIED TO CONNECT THEM INSTEAD OF THE 2 X 1.5...IT'S NOT WORKING!!! AM I BEING DENSE?!!!

What kind of a remote control is a "bike light"?

And if it normally uses two 1.5 volt batteries, that means it runs on 3v, so if you use two 9v batteries instead you are supplying it with 18v. Now, you seem surprised that that wouldn't work, which surprises me.
