Has anybody had any problems trying to use the remote at all. Font taking out of packaging and putting batteries in, the device just doesn't work as mention in the documentation.

The red LED on the front is permanently lit. It never flashes when any of the buttons are pressed. It's as though it's dead. Obviously gone through the process described in the book, but straight away it doesn't match the process because the LED doesn't flash.

Duff remote?

I've pushed each button down just to check any of them weren't trapped down as though permanently being pressed, and it's still lighting the red LED on solid without letting me do anything else with it.

Anybody else suffered with the same problem or any suggestions.

Much obliged.

Steve.

I've tried EVERYTHING and have spent 5 hours on this remote. I got the tv & vcr to work. Does anyone know a code for the panasonic home theater system for this remote? I read some where that this remote does not support components with digital tuners. Do you think that's true and the reason why my home theater isn't working with this remote? Thanks for your insight!

Hi would anybody by chance have the codes for a JVC tv?
I seem to have misplaced the paper with the list of codes
on it. This gigantic remote from Innovage is very hard
to track down for help.

I too am looking for help to program my Innovage Jumbo Universal remote that came with NO manual... I have one SONY tv and one JVC... did you ever get instructions or codes? If so, I would love to have them... Thanks. Susan

The instructions for code retrival are missing a step. I've inserted it here as step 2A.
In order to retrive the stored codes:

1. Press and hold CODE SEARCH button for 3 seconds until the LED stays on.
2. Press the device button. (eg TV, VCR etc.)
2A. Press and release the CODE SEARCH button, LED blinks off and back on.
3 Press each of the number buttons until the LED blinks off and back on once. This indicates the first number of the stored code.
4. Repeat step 3 for the second and third numbers of the code.
5. Once the third number has been found the LED will turn off.

Now I have a question. I want to use the CABLE device key for a second VCR. Does anyone know how to change the function of the device keys. I've had other universal remotes that, through pressing keys in a sequence, allows this, but I can't find the right combination.

Now my question. Has anyone tried to use the "Code retrieval"
function. In my instruction sheet the instructions for
retrieval are essentially the same as for the "Code Input
Setting" function so they don't work. Has anyone managed
to retrieve a code.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I have Dish satellite receiver 322 that controls 2 tv's.
I am able to get the remote to control the tv and dish remote for the main television , also am able to get remote to control second tv but not the satellite receiver for the second tv, the jumbo RC will only turn off and on the second tv and control that tv's tuner , will not allow channels to change on the satellite receiver.
Does anyone know of any way to have the jumbo RC control the secondary tuner on the satellite reciever or is this not possible ?

The second tuner of dish receiver are only RF remote controllable, the only remote that will EVER control the second tuner is oem rf remote, sorry you're out of luck.

I am also encountering problems that this may solve...will let you know if it helps. My disabled father lost his original remote for Trutech TV/DVD combo, and no codes are listed in Innovage manuel. Code Search was futile. I have used this method with success on other remotes/tvs.
None at this time.

Start by turning on the device that you want to program.
(1) Press & release the device button that you want to program, lets say "VCR" LED will flase once
(2) Press & hold the "CODE SEARCH" button until the LED stays on.
(3) Press and release the POWER button. Point the remote at the device.
(4)The LED will flash as the remote is searching for the code.
(5) As soon as the device turns off press and release the "ENTER" button.
The remote should NOW be programed.

I Found that when trying to program this remote for use on a Vizio T.V., the Phillips codes worked. They will perform the basic functions but will not enable the input key to work.

Edit: The only Phillips code that works is, 004
