At CES, Xantech showed a new remote, the XTR39, that will compete with Pronto, NevoSL and other programmable remotes. Looked pretty nice, but a little short on hard buttons and memory. Xantech reps told me they hadn't worked out pricing or a sales strategy yet. Some of the things I liked were:
Touchwheel for scrolling RF-capable Li-ion battery
The programming is done with the same software used for their in-wall products. A potentially troublesome issue is that it has only 8MB of memory.
