hey tahnks for the quick response. I tried the codes but can't get them to work I'm not quiet sure I'm doin it right. By device key you mean TV/VCR buttons? My dad keeps insisting the code is 000. Also would it matter if another controller is setup?

No, its the TV button at the top of the remote, right of the ON-OFF key. You need to hold it down as you enter 4 digit codes I listed.
For the VCR, you hold the VCR key left of the NO-OFF key, as you enter the vcr codes.

To save other people having to Google it to find out what it is, the CRK76SG4 is an RCA remote that comes with some of their DirecTV receivers (pictured on the left).
This remote looks almost identical to the RCU800 universal remote (pictured on the right), so the user manual available here might be mostly compatible, though Edmund would probably know for sure.

The only difference between RCU800 and the CRK76SG4 is the latter takes 4 digit codes. You need to add a 1*** for TV's, 2*** for VCR's.

1. press and hold both the TV & ON-OFF keys until the light remains on. 2. pressing the PLAY key, the remote sends out 5 power commands at a time, when light stops blinking, if your TV didn't go off, press and release PLAY key again, wait for it to stop blinking. Continue until the Tv goes off. 3. To step back through the power commands one at a time. tap the REWIND key, once your TV comes back on, 4. press and hold the STOP key to lock the code in.

I found the RCA D770 to be a closer match. The manual for the D770 is at [Link: support.rca.com] .

What is the code for Motorola Satelite Receiver(Starchoice Canada) from RCA CRK76SG4? I tried D770's and some other RCA's siblings' codes, but everything did not work. Anyone has idea?
Thank you very much.
Brian

No, it does not, sorry.
If you want some cheap remotes that do, check the radio shack remote models such as 15-2200, 15-100, 15-133, 15-134, and 15-135. Directv code is either SAT 1377 or 01377.

I know this is an old thread, but I just wanted to say thank you to Edmund for the code search info on the CRK76SG4 remote. My grandfather has this remote for his sat receiver and I wanted to program his daewoo tv into it, and successfully did with your instructions.
