I'm trying to program my Harmon Kardon remote that came with my HK AVR3550. I'd like it to take over the job of the remote that came with my Pioneer screen, 435XDE.

I've gone through the manual, and tried the various 3 digit codes - but none work. Are there any other codes anyone can suggest?

Also - there is a feature on the remote to scan through known codes - but I have tried this to no avail. I gave up after 2 mins - not sure how long it takes before it has sent all available codes.

Unfortunately, this remote cannot learn new commands.

Any ideas?
