My HK TC1000 remote is constantly sending the last command that has been pressed either by the LCD screen or the hard buttons(ie press vol + once and it continues to increase volume) It's only just recently started doing this. Tried resetting the unit, and re-learning the codes, uploading the whole setting file to the remote etc.

Any idea what this problem is and how to fix it? Perhaps the firmware has been corrupted (1.5) How can I re-flash the unit?

Thanks

Make sure your batteries STAY fresh and reprogram the commands your having problems with, but this time try not to hold the command button from your remote down so long, sometimes just a tap will do the job.

Yeah, batteries are freshly charged, re-learned codes-tap & holding down, wiped the remote (uploaded a new template) and started again- still not functioning properly.

Since it's tempremental fault (sometimes sends vol +, sometimes not- could damage the speakers)

I've just replace the HK with the HTM MX-700. So much easier to use- no fiddling with looking at the LCD screen whilst navigating DVD men screens.
