Can you send a link or post the codes for the mitsu rptv's? I have a 55819 that I would love to have the advanced/direct codes for.

Thanks!

try these (you will need a one for all like the old radio shack or the blue on black ofa) here are the setup instrucxtions for advanced codes usin one of those or i could save out mine into an astroshare file if you tell me what advanced codes you actually want to use..... other than the inputs)

Thanks for the reply. I'm basically looking for the direct input codes. So I can just select input 3, or component 2, etc. If you could post those, that'd be awesome!

What other types of advanced codes would be useful?

Thanks again,

I have a mitsubishi ws-654111, and use the suggestion in the prontneo forum on discreet codes:

quote "Also, you can program your Mits remote to give you the discrete codes which you can learn to your Neo. It's done like this:

Set the Layer Switch at the top of the Mitsubishi Remote to TV.

Press and hold the POWER button, and while holding the power button enter 090.

Now the remote functions like this:

Power - Power On Only
Stop - Power Off Only
Pause - AV Reset

Pressing INPUT followed by:
PIP - DTV
1 - Input 1
2 - Input 2
3 - Input 3
4 - Input 4
5 - DVD / Component 1
6 - Component 2
SQV - Input STB
QV - Input VGA
PIP CH Up - Antenna A
PIP CH Down - Antenna B

When done, press and hold the POWER button and enter code 000"

/quote

but have difficulty with the input option. If I get a reply or figure it out, I'll post

ok ,figured it out. I was trying to hold input and press the button....read it wrong

You press input (release) then say you want input 4, you press 4, or say you want antenna A you press pip ch up, or you want DTV you press pip...etc

It works like a charm, now just waiting for the take control remotes to arrive. Finally, all I have to say is "press watch a dvd dear" to my fiance and the rmeote will do all the work....no more hit input until you see component 1, press dvd on the receiver, power on the dvd...ad infinitum

Thanks to a great forum

Thanks again for those codes! It worked like a charm and makes everything SO MUCH easier! Even my wife completely understands it now too :)

Now, if any of you know where I can find similar codes for Hitachi RPTV's, I could use them to reprogram my dad's and my brother's remotes to make it easier :)

Thanks again!

YES!
i can confirm this works perfectly :)

thank you thank you thank you :)

one thing tho at elast in my 55 inch newer mitsubishi.... i needed to add a delay to the execution of this command in a macro... still fiddling with it to determine how long it needs to be but if you are setting up macros for the wife and kids to hit one button and say play a dvd changing to that input or watch hdtv and switch to that input etc.... you will need to add a delay to the command if the tv has been off and its at the end of a macro even..... it wont change the input ymmv but it DOES work :)

sigh... cant believe i now have a foolproof on button for all my setups :)

got 2 dvd players a hdtv 2 satellite receivers a vcr with 2 diff inputs and a tivo... all workin prefectly now for even the dolts in the family :)

thanks again
